Bared to You (Crossfire #1)

Bared to You (Crossfire #1)

What even?

I am sorry for all the adult fiction novels that I have been reviewing and I swear, I do read other YA books. This book is so mixed with feelings and reading it just flattens my stomach. It's sort of a mix between Fifty Shades and The Royals saga.

This book is about a girl named Eva who moved to New York to work in an ad company. She left her mother and her stepfather, who she loved, but wants some space from them. She had a rough past. Her mother had her but didn't marry her biological father because of money. Her mother found someone rich enough and they married but it turned out to be a nightmare for Eva, one that will scar her for life.

Gideon Cross is the man every girl will kneel down for- good looking, rich, well built, not to mention hot as hell. However, he, too, has a past that is both dark and dangerous. When both of them met, things changed. Eva could not get him out of her head. He could not stay out of her life. When they found each other, nothing could break them except for their past.

It's a very dark and mysterious novel that is wrapped with romance, pure love, and warmth. It was a really good and easy read. The characters felt real and the book was so complete. Eva is a very strong female character that I really like. She is vulnerable yet have so much drive in her. She is broken but she refuses to be shatter to pieces. She is like this sculpture of broken glass pieced together, fragile and breakable but strong and still standing. Gideon is just as broken but for Eva, he is willing to fix him for the possibility of them.

Brutally amazing- one that can make you scream and shout with all the feelings that you don't even know how to handle.

Crave Me, Convert Me, and Capture Me

Crave Me, Convert Me, and Capture Me

The first book was stunning. The second book caught me off guard. The third book had me in awe.
I have to say: I cannot count the number of times my stomach flatten and butterflied in me, nor the number of time I find my thoughts twisting it's way back into the book as if I was in it and the characters were my friends, nor the number of times I giggled to myself or cry in silent for all the emotions that were unleashed in these books.

The first book is about Belle, Clare's best friend, finding herself again after her fiance, Phil cheated on her. She swore not to let any man decide who she is and she decides no to let any man get in her way of becoming what she wants to be. The promise to herself lasted until she met Smith Prince. He is a gorgeously hot lawyer who is seeking for a personal assistant. Belle stubble into his office, prepared for anything but him.

She got the job but she also swore to herself and to him that they will not sleep together. Little did she know that both of them were tied together the first time they each lay eyes on one another.

It was so beautifully written. Smith has a way to make you feel so loved even though you are not Belle. He is like Christian Grey but more dominating. His jealousy levels will make you want to scoop in him in your arms but will prey on his jealousy a while longer, just to see how much he wants it. Pleasure in torture.

The second book was mentally good. It had all the elements of love, friendship, and mystery. Even though both Belle and Prince fell apart, they become stronger together. Seeing how the charterers change and grow each passing page is both satisfying and warming to heart because your imagination of what the charterers are, growing along with them, and your mind slowly forms this image of what they are and before you know it, they are like a friend that you are obsessed of.

The third book was unrealistically good. I felt my stomach flatten, my heart sank to the bottom of the floor, and the feels were running all over my system. How can something be so good and addicting?

It wasn't the sex part that draws me towards the book, but the romance and love that drowned me in it. I have never read or seen anyone love another so deeply and passionately. This book will undo all your expectation of love in the future but one can always hope and dream.

Crown Me

Crown Me

The mystery, betrayal, danger, and of course romance in this book is the next level. I cannot handle. It's hard for me to discuss the book without spoilers but I will try my best. One thing I will say is that: IT IS THE BEST. Utterly overwhelmed by all the feelings.

Every girl deserves to be treated like a princess by men but a queen to the one and only. Alexander does whatever he can to make Clare know that she is not only the Queen of England but also his queen. Their love makes all fairy tale love story seem staged because this story tells the true complication of relationships that often get interfered by duties, friends, and our history. The love that they share sets a whole new level of expectation of love in real life. Its sad to know that not everyone gets to have an Alexander in their life and not every one is lucky enough to ever find one but this book did spark hope that love does exists and when in love, love fearlessly, bravely, and completely because the worth of loving overrides all the pain and danger that comes with it.

Conquer Me

Conquer Me

Apart form sleeping and watching PLL on the screen on a 22 hour flight, I was reading Conquer Me. Good choice but bad timing. I was laughing, giggling, and smiling like an idiot to myself. I swear the girl next to me thinks I'm crazy.

This book- not as great as the first one- but still was brilliant. It's amazing how Alexander changed for Clare, and how Clare grew stronger because she loves him. I am all for a retell in the Beauty and the Beast story. Alexander finally lets go of the beast inside of him and accepts that his duties and responsibilities and the next King in line were far less important that having Clare in his life. Clare could not accept being his secret. She doesn't want the name nor to be Queen but she does want him. She wants him to not be afraid and to love her as deeply as she loves him.

The feels:

I was craving for more. it was a brilliant book. Beautifully written.

Command Me

Command Me

Who doesn't want to be a princess? No that was the wrong question. Who doesn't want to fall in love with a prince?

Clare falls in love with someone she could never have, someone she could never be with, and someone who will destroy her like he promised. Alexander, the prince of England, has Clare on her knees for her. Alexander is crazy over her too and the two of them can not take their hands off each other, literally. However, the royal family disagree with Clare and urge Alexander to find a Royal princess, not just some degree student. Things fall apart and the world Clare built in her head with Alexander is torn to pieces.

This book :

Alexander is the British Christian Grey. He is a freaking prince. Like Christian, Alexander, too has his own dark secret and demons that haunt him in his head. Ever since, Princess Sarah, his sister, passed from a car accident, Alexander has not been the same. He doesn't love anymore and doesn't trust that he is capable of love. Clare is so innocent, full of surprises, and utterly brave. She has a past with eating disorder which I can relate to. Even if you don't have a history of eating disorder, Clare is very easy to relate to in the book. She wants what all women want, love.

If you just finished Fifty Shades, this book will be amazing and satisfying. If you read Fifty Shades before and wish for more, this book will fill you up, no doubt.

What's with women desiring for dark love?

Grey- EL James

GREY- E.L James

In this book, you really get to see the behind the scene. E.L. James is brilliant. Somehow, I don't know if it's just me, but Christian sounds like a teenage boy in his head. It's very sad actually to hear him talk about his pain and watch his nightmares.

I love the part where he describes Ana and I totally adore the email part. He can get very distracted with his job when Ana is around and even more distracted when she is not around. I wonder how his business survives in the real world *jokes*

Though his eyes, you get the whole story wrapped up in your hand. You get the read about his relationship with Mia and Elliot, his relationship with Elena, and his relationship with his past. After reading this book, you will be sure to have all your question answered: who is Christian talking on the phone, what are they talking about, what is "the situation" that Christian has to handle when he was in Georgia with Ana, and everything else that make the whole trilogy complete.

The book ends with Thursday, the first day Ana and Christian meet again after the break up to go see Jose at Portland. I was screaming inside. I want and need the second book. I was so desperate that I even emailed E L James. No joke. I reread the whole trilogy again because I could not let myself say goodbye to those characters yet. I was not ready to let go of this world of Christian Grey. I was not ready to put down the emotion and the connection that I had with the story. It's bittersweet.

Lets all finger cross that there will be more books to come on Christian and Ana. Also, the movie: Fifty Shades of Darker will be out February 10, 2017. Still a long way but it's worth the wait.

Fifty Shades of Freed

Fifty Shades of Freed

It's the last book of the series and I am mentally and emotionally not ready
I mean, it's a 500+ pages book, only 200+ more than the first two but it's still not enough. I cannot contain this type of emotions.

Okay, lets break it through.

The beginning of the story was quite foggy, to be honest. We dive into Ana's dream a lot and I get confused over what is really and what is not. Let's face it everything in Ana's life seems like a dream to me.

I love how in this book, she is his Mrs. It's very fascinating to see how much she has grown and how strong of a voice she has now over him. It tickles my heart to see how much both of them need each other yet so dangerous when they are together.

However, since she said yes to him, I cannot shake off the feeling that she also lost her freedom to not be his anymore. You get me? Not that I don't want them together but I want to see more drama between them and I want to see how Christian goes crazy over her. The jealousy is making my heart melt.  I also find it so interesting to watch Christine and Ana fighting but making out later. They do it too when they are married it's just different because now that she is Mrs. Grey, he has this thing over her that she can no longer say no for. I hope that makes sense. If you have not read this book then it might mean nothing to you but if you read it , you feel my pain.

I love living in Ana's mindset a lot, throughout the whole series, I truly do. She is very strong yet innocent, fierce yet sweet, flirty yet knows what she wants. I would LOVE tho, to read a trilogy in Christine's point of view. I bet every breathing soul would agree.

The last bit where the author let us into Christine's mind when he first met Ana was magical. That is all I have to say and can say. * secretly laughing and uncontrollably smiling behind the keyboards of my laptop.

Fifty Shades of Darker

Fifty Shades of Darker

In this book, Christian is so broken that I want to hug him and cuddle him in my arms. From book one and jumping into book two, he is a changed man. I cannot get enough of him and I don't think I ever will. There is something about him that is so mysterious. What do I like about him? Well, he is hot, smart, did I mention hot? But I LOVE that he is over protective and bossy. When I read that Ana is in trouble, I know he is going to be there. This insurance and assurance that he has that feels safe.

Oh little Ana, she has a way to seduce a man and let him want more than he is legal to have. She knows what to give and what not. Sure, sometimes, I wish she said no so that she may seem hard to get but everything played out well. I secretly wished that she gets herself in trouble so that Christian can come save the day.

I cannot stop thinking about the book. I cannot put it down. I think of it when I am sleeping. I think of it in class. I think of it everywhere. The worst part is, whenever I think about it, I can't stop smiling.
This is very unhealthy. This book is my favorite out of the trilogy, hands down- without a doubt. I have never felt this way for a book since I read Twilight. You know the feeling when you put down the book but your head is singing for it. You pick it up and your heart throws glitter into the air, and when you are reading the book, it's a world you won't want to leave.

Also, a side note here, Mia reminds me of Alice Cullen from Twilight. Doesn't it? Hell, Christian and Ana reminds me of Bella and Edward too.

The ending left me hanging. ohh boy it's gonna be good. Really good.

Fifty Shades of Grey

Fifty Shades of Grey

It is eating me inside out. I cannot handle the love and romance. Okay, just to clarify, for most part, I scan through the sex part but I am hopeless over the love drama. Christine is the man every girl dreams about, forget prince charming. As for Ana, oh so innocent but so feisty too. She is so smart and really knows how to turn on a man.

I remember telling my friend that I won't want to read Fifty Shades of Grey because it was cruel and sounded painful but if you just scan through the sex part and pay more attention to their relationship drama, it's unbelievable. You will love hate Christian for most part and will think that Ana is a stupid girl for putting herself in that situation but oh man, why wouldn't she?

The ending had me screaming! I felt as if everything inside of me is turning upside down. HOW!? I have no idea?! but it did. I rushed to get the second book and I have no shame to say that I am helplessly, completely, uncontrollably drowned into the book.
