The Illustrated Compendium of Amazing Animal Facts
I absolutely adore this book. It's so cute and funny. It would be a great summer to go read on a long car trip where you can tell to your friends and family some fun facts about animals.There's a lot of interesting facts about animals that you wouldn't even begin to think about. The illusionist in the book are also great.
Here are some facts that you might not know about your favorite animal:
1. The skin of Panda under it's black fur is black and pink under the white fur.
2. Owls can rotate their heads 230 degrees but cannot move their eyes.
3. Owls have 3 eyelids: one when they blink, one when they sleep, and one for cleaning their eyes
4. Mosquitoes not only bite you but also pee on you.
5. Zebras are actually black with white strips and not white with black strips.
6. It is physically impossible of a pig to look up in the sky.
Want more? Then you might want to get this book because it is pretty awesome. It's fun, it's interesting, and very unique. I learn more about animals then i did in my science class.
