Eat Nakd Rhubarb and Custard

Eat Nakd Rhubarb and Custard

I have never had rhubarb before but this made me want to try some. It's very rich and it's softer than others. It's a little wet but not as wet as the cashew one. Surprisingly, I don't know how, but it has this strong alcoholic smell and taste. Which is very interesting.

There's not much crunch in it, in fact maybe none, but it has this very interesting, chewy texture.

It has have a much stronger date taste than other bars that are crunchy but I won't think you mind it because the flavor is very good.

EAT NAKD Caffe Mocha

EAT NAKD Caffe Mocha

I was so excited for this bar since the day I go it! I am A HUGE tea person and I do not drink coffee, but I love anything coffee flavored, cakes, muffins, cookies, icings, brownies, ANYTHING! This bar blew my mind! It literally tastes like a coffee brownie. It's not too sweet and not too bitter. When you first bite into it, it's a little tangy, then it's sweet, then it turns a little bitter.

This bar is very solid and firm on the outside but the inside it was moist and very surprisingly smooth. Just like a brownie!

Look at it man!

Okay, so Eat Nakd bar is not just a bar for me now, it's like a treat ! They are so flavorful, a great to-go snack, healthy dessert bar, and have great variety of flavor for everyone.

If you are a coffee person but have not tried this bar yet, you are missing out. It's decadent, rich, and full of coffee flavor.

Eat Nakd Toffee Treat

Eat Nakd Toffee Treat

Firstly, please excuse my poor skills of making a GIF, I'm still learning. Secondly, I was really excited to try these nibbles because I heard a lot of good stuff about them.

Sadly, I didn't enjoy them as much as I liked. It's true when they say "hope but don't expect."
Don't get me wrong, these little cute bites are good and I find myself eating the whole bag with no thoughts. However, they do have a little medicine-like after taste. It is soft and chewy, which is very surprising.

These are seriously adorable and it's a great snack to grab on the go.

Eat Nakd Pecan Pie

Eat Nakd Pecan Pie

It's just the first week of college and I am already excited for the holidays. Wake me up when it's summer. Jokes. My courses for this semester is quite interesting and I definitely feel like I am in my elements because I am taking Mass Communication and News Reporting.

It's Monday and for some reason I really miss Thanksgiving and Autumn. I think it's the weather here in Austin that feels like Autumn more than Winter. I craved for some pumpkin, some spices and some PIES!

This eat nakd bar was sensational. It not only brought me back to October and November but it also punch you in the face with holiday memories of you stuffing your face in good food.

I find this bar very interesting because the ingredients are only dates, almond and pecan. There's no natural flavor that sometimes are added in other Eat Nakd bars. It definitely tasted like a pie with soft crust, rich pecan flavor, and a surprise crunch from crushed almonds. It doesn't have a strong date taste, or overpowering spice, or too much nuts. Everything is just balanced out perfectly.

Love at first bite? Yeah, it was such a simple bar but packed with so much flavor and deliciousness. Simple, easy, and healthy; what more can you ask for? It's holiday in a bite guys. If you have not tried it yet, what have you been doing all your life?

It is also:
  • Suitable for dairy free diets
  • Low in saturated fats

Eat Nakd Cocoa Delight

Eat Nakd Cocoa Delight

This brought me so much joy. After the not so great Eat Nakd bar that I tried  a few days ago, this certainly brought back some hope. It is chewy, the texture is on point, and the flavor is very bold and balanced.

This bar is like eating a chewy chocolate bar. It does have a strong taste of raisins and I love raisins so this is a bonus point for me. I think the raisin is what made it chewy but don't worry there's still pieces of nuts in between each bite. I think this bar has fewer nuts than any other bars that I've tried. So if you don't like nuts, this bar is perfect.

I can't get over the texture of this bar. it's so different from the other ones that I've tried and it's so unique. It definitely surprised me when I first bite into it.

Overall, I am giving this bar an A++. It has the texture, it has the taste, it's healthy, and it is a treat!

Eat Nakd’s Cocoa Delight bar is also:
  • Dairy free
  • Wheat and gluten free

Banana Crunch Eat Nakd

Banana Crunch Eat Nakd

Well, I think it's just me but I don't really like this bar. It might be my least favorite Eat Nakd bar from what I've tried. It tasted funny and had this weird banana taste to it. I checked the package too and it's not expired.

The bar is quite firm and dry. It also smells like an overly ripe banana. When you bite into it, it does have a strong banana flavor and also a spice kick. Maybe it was the spice that drove me off. If you are not a fan of bananas, then this might not be the one for you but if you love bananas and feel adventurous, then give this a try. Maybe it was just me.

As for the crunch part, there wasn't a lot of crunch in this bar, compare to the other ones that I've tried before. It does not have a strong date taste too so, don't worry. It does have a lot of nut pieces and a hint of spices as an after taste, so watch out!

This bar is:

  • Dairy free
  • Wheat and gluten free
  • Vegan friendly
  • Low in saturated fats
  • Free from added sugar and syrups
  • GMO Free
  • Kosher
  • Deliciously simple! Made with Dates, soy protein crunchies (18%), cashew nuts, raisins, dried banana (6%), apple juice concentrate, banana flavoring.

Eat Nakd Cocoa Orange

Eat Nakd Cocoa Orange

OHHHBOYYYY ! Guys ! This literally tastes like my childhood. Remember those orange flavored chocolate? This taste exactly like it. If I were to close my eyes and have a bite of this, I would never have thought it was healthy or a nakd bar. I would have guessed that it was the actual thing.

The bar is solid but not wet. It has the perfect about of orange to chocolate ratio. Who said healthy has to be boring? This bar just prove that wrong !

Many "natural" bar has a very strong date taste to it because they are mostly made of dates but this one does not. It tastes like an actual chocolate bar, you don't even taste the nuts, the raisin or the dates. There's some crunch, there some sweetness, and there's some citrus bomb, all in one bite! This bar made my inner self throw sprinkles into the air. Today has been a gloomy sad day but this bar brought back so much childhood memories of me when I did not have to give a shit of the adult world and when I did not have to make tough decisions, that has inspired me not to give up and just do me. Everyone need a little pick me up or something to get on with the day, this bar is the ONE guys ! No joke. Try it and forever bless your soul.

Crave a chocolate bar but staying healthy? Grab this bar and you will never crave another chocolate bar other than this one because it is:

Eat Nakd Christmas Pud

Eat Nakd Christmas Pud

Merry Christmas everyone! It's actually the 27th and I went to a huge outlet for the semi annual sale. With so many people and so many shops to go into, there wasn't really any time to take a break and to grab a snack. Lucky for me, I packed some Eat Nakd bars with me. It's never too late for some Christmas pud guys. This bar was moist and surprisingly soft.

There was not much crunch in this bar. Each bite, you get a strong taste of Christmas spices. There's raisins in between the chewy bite with just a few bits of nuts. Honestly, the spices was quite overpowering. If you do not like the taste of strong spices then this may not be right for you. However, what I do like about this bar is that it is not too sweet. It's just right and very chewy.

Christmas Pud is also:
  • Gluten, wheat and dairy free

Eat Nakd Cocoa Mint

Eat Nakd Cocoa Mint

Oh boy, it was cold when I went out to ski today. This kind of weather made me crave a warm cup of tea with mint chocolate. Unfortunately, I didn't have those in the middle of the woods but this bar was out for the grab. It's so handy to bring with me on my skiing trip. It was very refreshing and not too sweet. It reminded me so much of the actual chocolate mint sweet.

Vegans do not have to miss out on good delicious treats. If I were to close my eyes and have a bite into this bar, I would not have known that it was a healthy Eat Nakd bar, I would guess that it was the actual York mint chocolate treat.

This bar was not wet like the Cashew cookie one. It was firm but moist in the inside. It has some crunch from the nuts in between each bite. The chocolate was not too sweet, but rather bittersweet and the mint was so powerful. It's a really refreshing bar to have with me on a cold snow day.

More amazing facts, it is:

  • Gluten free
  • Wheat free
  • Dairy free
  • Has no added sugar
  • Vegan & vegetarian friendly
  • Kosher
  • One of your 5 a day!
  • Deliciously simple! Made with Dates (48%), Cashews (29%), Raisins (17%), Cocoa (6%), natural flavor

Eat Nakd Cashew Cookie

Eat Nakd Cashew Cookie

I love nuts. You can probably tell by the number of post I have about nuts. They are really good for you and I believe nuts are like the underdog to a healthy body. I was feeling lazy to make lunch so I grabbed one of the Eat Nakd bars. There was so many to choose from but this one screamed at me. I needed a cookie and I love nuts. Put them together and I can be the happiest girl.

I find that this bar is a little wet compared to the other ones that I have tired but it was still delicious. You can really taste the dates in this bar with just a hint of cashew.

There is not much crunch in this bar but you do get some chunky nuts in between each gooey soft bite of dates, which is heavenly smart. It kind of acts as a break from all the soft gooeyness when you get that sudden surprise chunk from the nuts.

I should have try to bake this in the oven but I may or may not have finished the whole bar! (Have not guilt or shame. #wink) I bet if it is baked, it would be much better and more like a cookie.

This bar is:

  • Suitable for dairy free diets
  • Free from saturated and trans fats
