This story feels very mature but also have the feel of high school crush. It's amazing. Mark is so funny, out there, but romantic. Mia is thoughtful, strong, and kind. It's hard not to love her.

Mark is shot badly in a battle and Mia is one of the nurses working in the hospital that all Blackstone soldiers go to when they are injured. Only Molly knows about the Blackstone and what they do but Mia has a clue. Mark didn't ask but he grows fond of her when he had to stay at the hospital. After he is released from the hospital and goes back to his job, he never stops thinking of Mia. He makes excuses to come back to the hospital to see her and even broke his buddy, Paul's, arm to go to the hospital. It was sweet and it will take you back to high school romance. However, Mia has a secret that no one knows. Mark has a past that he was not willing to tell. The two has to trust each other in order for things to work. Will they tell the truth or will they continue to lie because the truth is too ugly? When Mark's past starts to creep itself back into his life, he has to deal with it first but it was too late. His past caught up and hurt Mia. Mia's secret was reveal in the most unpleasant way, leaving Mark broken and unable to trust Mia again. They two fell apart. Stubborn as they are, who's gonna be the first one to mend things back together?

This my probably be the best grown up, realistic, sexy version of a fairy tale. I love it. The ending was so sweet and it made me believe fairy tales and happy every after again. The road might be bumpy guys, but the end will be worth it.

Savannah and Cole's love story continues in the third and last book of the trilogy. Cole has a very interesting character. He is dominant but respectful. Savannah is stubborn but clever. I think they make the best couple.

When Savannah moved out of the safe house, she wanted to find herself again, to know what it feels like to be alive. She cannot be locked up in the mountains juts because it was safe. She wants to take risks. She got a job at Zack's, made friends, and lived in her small, comfy apartment. Everything was great but she wasn't. She miss Cole but Cole broke up with her when she said she wanted to move out. She was broken and lost but she refused to give up on the hopes of finding herself again. She didn't want to be the poor girl they rescue or the daughter betrayed by her father and her best friend. She wants to find out who she was apart from all that. It's hard to find who you are when the other part of you aren't with you. Soon, she found out that the only best way to find who she is, is to be with the one who makes her who she is- better, happy, and whole.

After a miscarriage and losing Cole, Savannah didn't know how she could live anymore. She didn't know if she could even continue her life. Cole was dead and she lost her baby- their baby- the last piece of Cole that she have. Everything was shattered to pieces and she had no way to piece them back together until she found her love again.

This was short, sweet, and exciting all in one. There're so much danger and adventure in this small read. So much heart breaks and secrets. I like how everything is fast and straight forward. I had enough of twists and turns from other novels that it's wearing me out so this was the cherry on the cake for me. It's an easy read but boy, my feelings were everywhere. This book brings my feels to a whole new level of heart ache. The ending was a heart breaker. It is so ASDFGHJKL.

Savannah was not willing to let anyone die for her but Cole was not willing to let the love of his life go. Whenever Cole heads out to a battle, he promises Savannah to come back but will he this time?


This book is brilliant ! All my feels.....

Savannah is so smart, innocent, quick, funny, and selfless. Cole is EVERYTHING!

I cannot believe the story just ended with a cliff hanger ! what the hell ? It's so not cool.

What is worst is if the public knew, she would be the Olympic whore. Her reputation would be ruin, her dream would be shattered, and her heart would be devastated. Andie has to choose between her mind and her heart.

This book feels so much like the Royals Sage by Genera Lee. Freddie is British and so is Alexander. Both of them are royals. Clare and Andie are both from the states and both have something to fight for. Also, I think their personality quite similar.

I love how the book is so present. Olympic at Rio is coming soon and it just gives us the feel to it. I also love how independent and mature two charterers are, individually. I love how Andie can set her mind away from Freddie when she is playing on the field. I love how she came to her senses and accepted the reality when she found out they can never be together. I love how she was so aware of herself, not letting him touch her because she knew it would not end well if they did. I love her determination, her courage, and her sportsmanship; on the field and in love. I love how she never gives up.

Holder and Sky had serious shit talked about them. They were judged horribly by people they hardly know. Holder was known for beating a gay kid nearly to death. Sky was known as a slut, though she never even had sex. The reason why Holder beat the kid up was because the kid was an asshole. The reason Sky make out with boys was because she was trying to figure out why she never felt anything. When someone kisses her, she felt nothing. She zones out or just blanks out. When they bumped into each other, things changed. Sky begins to have bits of memories of her past and of her childhood. She begins to remember why she was adopted and who she really was. What terrifies her most was what was done to her before she was adopted. What was done cannot be undone. What she had to go through haunts her even when she can't remember.

This is a beautiful love story. I was torn inside. It's brutal yet amazing.
